How we got there.
The identity came first, so the site could be short
We had already built the brand, which meant the website did not have to do the work of establishing who DamDavis & Maxx are — the mark, the palette and the voice arrived with it. That let the site stay direct: a clear promise, the services, and a way to start a project, rather than the long about-us section that sites without an identity behind them tend to need.
Construction is sold on proof, not adjectives
Every contractor’s site says quality and professionalism. What a prospective client is actually scanning for is evidence that you have finished things like theirs. The structure puts the work and the services in front of the copy, so the page is doing the persuading with what was built rather than with how it is described.
Handed over editable
Built on WordPress with Elementor so the team can add a service or change a project without a developer, with page caching configured so that freedom does not cost load time. A construction firm updates its site when a job completes, which is unpredictable and rarely convenient — it should never wait on us.
Most of our projects start with a call where we say what we would do differently. That call is free and there is no deck.
